Skye's mom, Jade, is a friend of mine -- and we all attend Irving Bible Church. Would you please take a moment to read about their struggle with juvenile diabetes and if you feel that you can help them in their attempts to raise funds for the JDRF Walk, there is a link on their website.
Juvenile diabetes runs in our family (my side -- my brother, Jim and my grandmother, Helen). And the boys have participated in a research study (they had their blood drawn for the study and did so well! no tears!) I'm sure all of you are affected by it by someone you know or someone in your family. These sweet kids want to make a difference -- let's help them.
